Large, rusty steel pipes criss-cross every section of the school, part of a pipe system replacing the old one that lies down here. Few venture down here, because the pipes are like a maze and you can easily get lost. There are even rumors of students dying in these morbidly silent corridors of steel, and that this part of the school is haunted. Are they just rumors, or are they for real?

| Potions Class
This is where the Potions Professor, Ricros Falconflight, teaches his class; located to the right of a few old cells, the rather large but very old classroom used to be a very prestigious gathering place for students. | Dark Magics Class
Dark Magics class can only be taught to those in their Third through Seventh Years. It teaches things such as darker spells and incantations, the history of Dark Magic, and how to defend oneself against it. This class is not advised for the faint-hearted; and its professor is Seralith Tashinato.

This is the Secret Passage that students in the olden days of Quiron used to escape from the dreary days of school to the town beyond Quiron, though there are many dead-end passages leading off this large one.

| Entrance and Grand Hall
The Grand Hall and school Entrance are both located here; this is where you will find a good impression of what Quiron Academy prefers as decor, and where you normally enter the school, though the Secret Passage can also be used.

| Wand and Spellcraft Class
This class, currently taught by Angel Harenhart, is accessible on the first floor. The classroom, moderately large in size, is very neat, and has a great deal of books stacked in piles or upon shelves that line the perimeter of the room.

| Dining Hall
The Dining Hall is where both regular meals are held and banquets/feasts for special occasions. Often referred to also as the Ballroom, the Christmas and End-of-the-Year Ball are both held here also.

| Girls' Bathroom
Girls only, of course. The girls' showers are usually much better than the boys'. Girls gather here to gossip, clean up, etc. You can't get in unless you're a girl and know the password, ensuring none of the male students can spy on the females.

| Cultural Magic Class
This class is maintained by [apply for position]. It is a class in which students can learn about other mage schools, wizard schools and general magic academies. It also teaches students respect for other cultures' magical ways and how to blend in with others. The ain purpose is to maintain a general sense of well-being between magical schools and governments. Otherwise, it is a fun class but hardly sensible unless you intend to join an organization in which stealth is needed constantly.

| Prefects' Bathroom
Only prefects, Head Boy and Head Girl can use this bathroom. It's also password-protected, and in addition to the showers, sinks and privy, it has a large square pool with dozens of color-coded taps that each release different types of bubbles. It's much more quieter than the girls' and boys' bathroom because it only caters to about ten people, give or take.

| Water Magics Class
Water Magics Class' teacher is Professor Serai Ganthry. This class is held in a classroom of very large proportions; many large basins of water can be found in here, surrounding one very large body of freshwater in the middle of the room.

| History of Magic Class
Quite possibly the most boring class in all of the Academy, this class is taught by [apply for position]. Its windows are dusty and filthy, as are the floors and walls. Most don't bother to even stay awake in this class, since this old professor was actually only bewitched to look like Alice Stone, who had neglected her duties as a teacher. She was fired and a new teacher hired for this school year.

| Boys' Bathroom
Password-protected, like the girls' bathroom, the boys can copy off one another's homework, shower, talk, etc. Boys only. The showers are usually pretty bad, since the girls usually use up all the hot water first. The bathrooms for girls and boys are on different floors so that no one of the opposite gender can be near without arousing suspicion.

| The Library
The library is almost as large as the Grand Hall, chockful of knowledge in the form of literature; many tables, windows and shelves are here, and the ceiling is very high, so there are more than a few ladders and stairwells around the room for students to reach books higher up. | Staff Bathroom
Only staff are allowed in here to take care of their personal needs. This bathroom also has a pool similar to the one in the prefects' bathroom and is also password-protected. It runs on different pipes than the other bathrooms so that it will always have hot and cold water.

| Clarevoyancy Class
This class, taught by Headmistress Fey DeLuccar, is located upon the second floor; its purpose is, obviously, to teach students with powers of the mind how to control and use them. The room is smaller than most, because of the fact few students are blessed with such powers.

| Prefects' Common Room
Prefects and the Head Girl and Boy can all come here to discuss their Houses, share gossip, etc. Only prefects are allowed, of course. Few teachers come in here, but it is very elegant and accomodating. There are no real dormitories, however. The color scheme is an ivoryand ebony sort of style. Above the mantel is a portrait of the school Founder, as well as the crest of the Academy and all four House animal representatives.

Taught by Professor Luke D. Flowright, this class is for those who are interested with the movement of celestial objects and wish to learn more. Located in a higher and cleaner level of the Attic, many clear windows without glass and a great abundance of telescopes and other equipment are in this classroom, which is also without a ceiling.

This class focuses on herbal remedies, healing and hurting plants, healing spells and incantations, etc. This class is popular among females and Earth Magic users. | School Grounds |
| Nightshade Greenhouses
The many exotic and natural plants found in the Quiron greenhouses have been harvested from all over the world. They are separated into areas of bad, good and neutral plants. There are three greenhouses, usually taken care of by the Healing Professor, Earth Magics Professor and Groundskeeper. Students are not allowed to enter certain areas.

| Stables
This is the housing for a great deal of mythical creatures and the like, owned by students, by staff and by the school itself. | Haven Lake
With cool swirls of indigo blue waters, this place is truly a haven for students. Few professsors come here, but students use this place for everything from studying to relaxation to pranks. It's said the waters have merfolk living in them, but no one's sure - some have even claimed to have seen nymphs and naiads on its grassy banks!

| Care of Magical Creatures Class
This class is held outside of the school building, near and in the Stables. Taught by Lily Katrina Moonshine, it has no indoor classroom. Its focuses are learning to recognize, combat and interact with magical creatures such as dragons, centaurs and merfolk.

| Combat and Defense Class

| Groundskeeper's Lodgings

| Faerie's Circle
Faerie's Circle is a secluded glade on the border of the school grounds, on the far bank of Haven Lake. The small ring of trees cover those inside completely from view, making this a good place for secret meetings between friends and the like.

Including this class and two others, a total of three classes are taught outdoors. This class being the most prominent of the three and considered a class for a major subject in magic, its classroom is the entire school grounds.

| Flying and Sports Class
Flying and Sports Class is like your ordinary European gym class - sort of. The professor, Angel Harenhart, requires that you wear a uniform including dragon hide gloves and boots, fireproof and waterproof robes, etc. in order to keep games as safe as possible. Several things are taught, lessons being both physical and mental. You can learn to broom race, play quidditch or just play a Muggle sport like soccer or basketball. It's usually held near the broom racing field.

| Broom Racing Field
The broom racing field is for broom racing, obviously; this sport has just been introduced this year to the school so as to substitute for quidditch due to a great deal of cheating using powers. The quidditch field, which was originally far too large to bewitch so that no magic could be used on it, has now been converted to a field of a smaller size but still quite large. You can come here to see matches between House teams, sign-up for teams or practice.

| Corulacar Memorial Park
This Park was named after the founder of the town, a very close relative to the founder of Quiron Academy. The park takes up 'residence' where a village square would normally be found, shunting the village square to one side and is twice its size.
